Chapter 26

Collecting memories...

Hi Puli,

Welcome to Chapter 26

Before the next chapter begins, here is the story of the one that brought you here.

🏔️ July 2025

A Summer to Remember

July arrived with birthdays, mountains, family, celebrations, and a beautiful new beginning. Between misty mornings in Darjeeling and moments shared with the people closest to you, this became a month that would stay with you long after the journey ended.

mountains, birthdays & new beginnings ♡

☕ August 2025

Home, Happiness & Little Dreams

August was made of familiar places, funny moments, celebrations, time with family, and the comfort of simply being home. There were people to meet, memories to make, and plenty of reasons to smile.

home, happiness & the people who matter ♡

✈️ September 2025

Back to Taiwan, Forward to a Dream

September meant packing again, leaving home behind, and returning to Taiwan—not simply to go back, but to begin something you had worked years to reach.

New university. New laboratory. New questions. A completely new chapter as a PhD researcher.

the PhD era officially begins ✨ ACHIEVEMENT UNLOCKED PhD Researcher 🎓

🍜 October 2025

Finding Your Rhythm

Not every chapter begins with a grand event. Some begin quietly—with new routines, familiar food, long conversations, ordinary days, and the slow process of making life feel comfortable again.

Taiwan was becoming familiar again, and somewhere between everyday moments and new responsibilities, a rhythm slowly began to form.

settling in, one little moment at a time ♡

🧪 November 2025

One Experiment at a Time

By November, the PhD was no longer a distant dream. It had become everyday life—papers to read, questions to ask, techniques to learn, experiments to understand, and problems that did not always come with easy answers.

Progress did not always arrive as a breakthrough. Sometimes, it simply meant learning something new and showing up again the next day.

Research mode: permanently activated.

✨ December 2025

Little Joys Between Long Days

Between research, responsibilities, and another year slowly coming to an end, December found happiness in smaller places—good food, silly pictures, quiet outings, familiar voices, and moments that made busy days feel lighter.

Because even the busiest chapters need a little room for laughter.

little moments, big smiles ♡

🌱 January 2026

A New Year, Still Growing

A new year did not mean beginning again. It meant carrying every lesson, every challenge, every memory, and every small victory forward.

The dream remained the same—but the person chasing it had already become stronger, wiser, and a little more certain of herself.

Hello, 2026. Be kind.

🌸 February 2026

Quiet Progress

Some months are not defined by one enormous moment. They are built from ordinary days—the kind where routines grow stronger, work continues quietly, and small efforts begin adding up.

The progress may not always have been visible, but it was there.

growing quietly, every day 🌱

🐀 March 2026

Braver Than Yesterday

Somewhere between careful hands, nervous beginnings, long experiments, and many lessons, the things that once felt unfamiliar slowly became part of everyday life.

Confidence did not appear overnight. It grew one experiment, one challenge, and one brave attempt at a time.

from “please don't move” to “we have work to do” 🐀

Character development: scientifically confirmed ✓

🎓 April 2026

Science Came Home

April brought you back to India—but this time, home came with science, collaboration, familiar faces, new conversations, and the beautiful chaos of SAIL.

After months of PhD life in Taiwan, it was time to reconnect, contribute, celebrate, and be part of something built with people who shared the same curiosity.

Researcher by day. Gala star by night. ✨

🧠 May 2026

Back to Brains & Brave Little Rats

After the excitement of India, home, SAIL, and celebrations, it was time to return to Taiwan—and to the work patiently waiting in the laboratory.

Back to questions. Back to experiments. Back to learning. And back to the tiny coworkers who had slowly become much less frightening.

another day, another experiment 🐀🧠

Current status: caffeinated and scientifically curious.

🇩🇪 June 2026

A Little Farther Into the World

Then came Germany—a new country, unfamiliar streets, beautiful places, new experiences, and another collection of stories to carry home.

From India to Taiwan and now Germany, the world became a little bigger—and so did the person exploring it.

new country, new memories, still completely you ♡

NEW COUNTRY UNLOCKED 🇩🇪

🎂 July 2026

JULY 2026 · CHAPTER 12

This birthday may be a little quieter than we imagined. There may not be a cake arriving at your door or a box of presents waiting to be opened— and that is completely okay.

Right now, I only want you to rest, recover, eat properly, and take care of yourself. There will be other cakes, other celebrations, and a suitcase carrying your gifts when I come to Taiwan. Nothing is missed; some surprises are simply waiting for the right time. ♡

Until then, I made this little corner of the internet for you— a place holding pieces of your year, your adventures, your courage, your work, your laughter, and all the little things that make you… you.

Happy 26th Birthday, Puli.
Get well soon. I’ll see you soon. ♡

The Lab Chronicles

One researcher. Many experiments. Several cups of coffee. A few brave rats. An unreasonable number of tabs open.

Somewhere between nervous first days and long experiments, fear became familiarity—and familiarity slowly became confidence.

OBSERVATION: Confidence increased significantly.
FEAR LEVEL: Reduced.
COFFEE LEVEL: Still under investigation. ☕
CONCLUSION: Character development scientifically confirmed. ✓

The Little Things That Make You... You

Beyond the PhD, the travels, the milestones, and everything you achieved this year, there are the little things— the habits, quirks, smiles, and tiny details that make you unmistakably you. ♡

🍜 Snacks Make Everything Better

A long day, a difficult experiment, a movie, a trip, or simply a random craving—there is almost always room for something tasty. Some problems need solutions. Others just need the right snack.

Current mood: Probably deciding what to eat next.

🎁 One Little Birthday Note

Your gifts are not late. They are travelling with me. 🎁✈️
